The works of Andrew Zirkin are unique and inspiring
"my works are always changing in mediums and styles"
for example this Madona and Child is drawing on to metal with welding
then painted in Acrylics or oils and subjected to the enviorment. I have a vision a passion
to create something new something diffrent something that resembles something of past
mixed with something else from the past with a little bit of myself.
I have many influences from Salvador Dali to Degas, Claude Monet to
Bosch, Picasso and Gaudi." I have studied in Rome as well as my degree from UC Santa Cruz I graduated with a degree in Fine art It was so amazing to have the opportunity to just create art. At the moment I work on asset building and understanding wealth and income as I want to go back to a life of art a life of creation without the need to make art to sell to survive. I want to create because I love to create. Without the constricting influence most galleries have. I want my style to be free to explore any direction without being pigeonholed into a style because the buying public wants that look. I rarley understand why and what I do i remember a quote from picasso once when asked why he was not painting political art while living in occupied france against the nazi's. He said " That all art is political" I have to agree with extensive studies in art history I find that I art is of a time and when you stuidy a piece you leaarn so many things of the time and he work in a sort of abstract reflection of the people the cultures the issues the history from before the time the technology the finance of art and artists and of course religion. Then of course the most important the artists themselfs there history influences
