Andy Warhol

Andy Warhol was a the brilliant artist who brought Pop Art to America and brought it also into Popular culture. He is best known for his Campbell Soup series, where he screen printed campbell soup cans onto printing paper. In one sense he was taking the ordinary a boring old soup can and making it extraordinary. Towards the end Warhol worked on many pieces with his friend Basquiat. Andy Warhol is also know for his Marilyn Monroe as well as other icons like Mickey Mouse, The Statue of Liberty or even Mao. You can find prints below of some of his more popular works.
